Our Story
Welcome to the home of grassroots football for Shepshed Dynamo Youth & Junior Football Club. We believe there is no better activity for young people to get involved with to increase their health and fitness while having fun with their friends.
Shepshed Dynamo Youth and Junior within the 2024 – 2025 season currently have 11 teams ranging from under 6’s to under 16’s across multiple leagues with over 140 registered players. We are aided hugely in our ability to coach and manage these teams because of the support provided by our sponsor. The support provided allows the club to provide football training sessions, equipment and facilities for the players within the local community.
Shepshed Dynamo Youth & Junior Football Club was formed in 1991 to give the young people of Shepshed and the surrounding area the opportunity to play football regardless of their nationality, race, ethnicity, gender or religion to the best of their ability and encourage them to play by the correct rules of the game.
By working to the Football Association’s Charter Standards, we strive to create a safe and secure environment for our youngsters to enjoy their sport, as well as develop and improve the standards of management and coaching at all levels.
The aim of the club is to invite young people to compete in league and cup football fixtures. We encourage, involve and start up new teams every year, both boys and girls, from the ages of Under 6’s to under 16’s. Our club is affiliated to Leicestershire & Rutland Football Association and is committed to raising the standards of junior football.
