Shepshed Dynamo Youth & Juniors are pleased to announce that the 2026 Shepshed Dynamo Y&J Tournament will be taking place in June. The tournament was first organised in 2002, and to date, there have been over 50 different football clubs that have won our tournament. Will your name be on this year’s trophy?
FA Affiliation: Shepshed Dynamo Y&J is an affiliated club and has applied for FA Affiliation for this tournament.
This year’s tournament will be held on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th of June 2026. The tournament will be split over the 2 days to accommodate as many teams as possible. Age groups will have a dedicated day in which to play their tournament. Each league will be run independently and each will have its own winner. All age groups are based on the 2025/2026 football season.

Key Details
All matches are to be played at Iveshead School (Forest Street, Shepshed, LE12 9DB), the home of Shepshed Dynamo Youth & Junior Football Club. Referees will be provided by Shepshed Dynamo Y&J during the tournament, leaving coaches free to manage their teams.
We ask that teams try to limit the number of players in their squads to 10 players (for U11’s upwards, 12 is the max squad size). Please let the organiser know if squads are bigger than this using the form below. A medal will be provided for players participating in the tournament. However, if the number of players exceeds the limit previously mentioned, a medal may not be guaranteed for all players.
The matches will consist of 12-minute games and 15-minute finals with a 5-minute pause between matches. Teams will play a minimum of 4×12-minute games in the tournament.
The Shepshed Dynamo Y&J football teams play in black and white striped shirts.
Entry is £45 per team, which includes a medal for each player. At the end of the tournament, a trophy will be presented to the winning team in that league.
Food, drink and toilet facilities will be available throughout the day. Entry for all non-players/coaches is £2 per person, payable upon arrival at Iveshead School. Under 16’s can enter the grounds free of charge.
Tournify League Results
To ensure everyone at the tournament can view their team’s standings, Shepshed Dynamo Y&J will be utilising the Tournify application. This is a free application that provides coaches and parents with the results, team standings, tournament schedule and pitch location. Photography & VEO
DE Photos will be providing the photography at the 7’s tournament. In the below contact form, we ask that coaches either accept or deny the use of DE Photo for their team as a whole. We appreciate that some parents may not want pictures being taken of their son/daughter. Any pictures taken will be available for purchase at the tournament.
As well as DE Photos, Shepshed Dynamo Y&J also utilises VEO video cameras to record finals. However, to do this we also require that coaches either accept or deny the use of VEO for their team as a whole. Videos taken of matches will be shared with the team’s coach to be shared with the parents. All we ask is that these videos are not shared online.
Event Parking
Parking is available at Iveshead School. Marshals will be on hand to help you park and direct you to the entrance. Please be aware that there is limited parking at Iveshead School, and this is likely to fill up very quickly. We ask that, where possible, players, coaches and spectators car share to ensure sufficient parking is available for all. Coaches, please share this page with your parents, as there are location details available below for reference.
